Vietnamese students were presented with four medals, including two golds, at the 28th International Informatics Olympiad recently held in Russia.
According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, the four-member team won two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

The two gold medals went to Phan Duc Nhat Minh and Pham Cao Nguyen, both from High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi University of Science.
Tran Tan Phat from High School for Gifted Students of the HCM City National University won the silver medal, while the bronze was awarded to Le Quang Tuan from High School for Gifted Students of the Hanoi University of Education.
Overall, Vietnam ranked seventh among the 81 participating countries, the nation’s best showing since 2000.
