
Vietnam sees considerable increase new wealth
The report said Vietnam’s New Wealth Builders (NWB) have an average of from USD100,000 to USD2m, ranking after India and Indonesia.
The Latin American region took the lead for reporting growth of 11.1 percent in the number of NWB. It was followed by the Asia-Pacific, with an increase of 10 percent, Russia as well as Eastern Europe with growth of 9 percent, the Western Europe 2.5 percent and Northern America 2 percent.
NWBs had combined assets of USD88trn in 2014, forecast to rise to USD145trn by 2020.
In Asia-Pacific region, the majority of NWBs came from China and Japan. India reported the highest growth rate in the number of NWBs, at 47.4 percent with USD4.9 million.
Vietnam is forecast to see a strong increase in the number of NWBs in 2018.
