
The first flight was marked with an in-flight unique in-flight floral bikini show, when the ailse turned out to be catwalk and models performed bikini collection named “Floral Angels” – which were creatively made of fresh flowers.
With three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the new route is expected to provide 1,080 seats one week and meet the local travel demand. VietJetAir is also the only carrier operating in this air route at present.
“VietJetAir is excited to launch the route Vinh – Da Lat and offers more air travel opportunities to bridge the two major tourism cities in Vietnam,” said Desmond Lin, VietJetAir’s director of business development.
VietJetAir has opened the Da Lat Flower Festival with a unique fashion show. A flight full of flowers, an in-flight vigorous dance and joyous music has made all passengers bustle in joys, happiness and unforgettable moment on the maiden flight from Vinh to the city of flowers and festival Da Lat.
Opening section is jubilant Lion dance at Vinh airport as a token of luck to all passengers.
On this joyous occasion, Lin said, the airline would sponsor three important cultural events, the launch of the 2014 National Tourism Year with a focus on the Central Highlands, the 120th Anniversary of Da Lat and the 5th Da Lat Flower Festival, which aim at attracting visitors to this city.
In order to satisfy the increasing domestic and international travel demand and to provide more seat capacity, VietJetAir is actively expanding its flying network and increase frequencies especially to the major economic and tourist hubs.
VietJetAir is a new generation, dynamic and modern airline that has been licensed to operate both domestic and global routes. The airline is now operating almost 600 flights per week.
