According to the HCM City Department of Transport, vehicles will be banned on Nguyen Hue Street, the section from Le Loi to Ton Duc Thang streets, from 6-10 pm on April 28. On April 30, vehicles will also be banned from going into the section from 6-9.30 pm when the city is scheduled to hold a fireworks display between 9-9.15 pm at Dam Sen Cultural Park and Saigon River Tunnel.

Between 8-9.30 pm on April 30, vehicles will not be allowed to travel into many roads in districts 1 and 4, including Ton Duc Thang (section from Me Linh to Khanh Hoi Bridge), Dong Khoi (section from Ngo Duc Ke to Ton Duc Thang), Hai Trieu (from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue streets and Ham Nghi Street.
The Ministry of Transport has asked people not to gather on Khanh Hoi, Mong, Calmette, Ong Lanh, Thu Thiem, Nguyen Huu Canh, Binh Loi, Binh Trieu, Rach Chiec, Saigon and Phu My bridges to see fireworks.
