The companies were selected for meeting such criteria as good credit rating, market capitalisation, and transparency.
Vingroup is the first Vietnamese real estate enterprise named in the S&P’s list. Notably, it is always in the top five companies having the largest market capitalisation on Vietnam’s stock market.
The company also won the “Region's Best Borrower in Vietnam” award by Finance Asia, the most prestigious banking and finance magazine in Asia.
In 2010, Vinamilk was the first and only Vietnamese business recognised as one of the 200 leading Asian companies by Forbes Asia. Last year its revenue increased by 17% to US$1.5 billion.
