The accident occurred at 6.30 am when a four-seat car suddenly crashed into a truck running in front of it. A seven-seat car and a 16-seat passenger bus which were running after the four-seat car then also crashed into one another from behind.
The crash left the male driver and a woman in the four-seat car dead on the spot and the vehicle was badly damaged.
A witness said that the driver of the four-seat car was speeding before crashing into the truck.
"He and the woman sitting behind him were found dead with multi injuries in the car," the witness said.
Three other vehicles also had many parts broken in the collision.
The accident caused a serious traffic congestion on the street.
Police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
