Two children killed, mother injured in HCM City traffic accident

A woman was seriously injured while her two small daughters were killed in a traffic accident which occurred in HCM City's Binh Tan District on Thursday evening.

A police report said the accident occurred at 6 pm on September 5, when the woman was driving a motorbike carrying her two daughters on Tran Van Giau Street. Her motorbike suddenly crashed into a container truck running in the same direction and turning right onto Nguyen Cuu Phu Street.

The intense crash left the woman and her two daughters on the ground. The two children died on the spot, while the woman suffered severe injuries.

Police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
