The three men prosecuted for  illegally transporting more than 300 Vietnamese people to China.

According to the police, the group led by Linh used to look for people who wanted to come to China for work and then recruited them.

On July 18, the men contacted six people in Nghe An Province who were appointed to meet them for the discussion about the trip to China. The men said that the people only needed to deposit VND2 million (USD86.95) first without any private papers required and the remainder of VND8 million (USD347.82) would be paid after they were successfully brought to China.

One day later, they called a taxi to send the six people to Bac Vinh Station so that they could get a coach to the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang for China. However, the six were detained by the police in Nghe An when the coach was travelling to Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City.

At the police station, Linh admitted that he previously worked in China so he knew about ways to take Vietnamese people to China through Cao Bang Province. He after that co-operated with Tuan and Luu.

The police are expanding the investigation of the case.
