Following the long suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, lots of boats serving Huong Pagoda’s visitors have deteriorated. A new boat costs around VND12 million (USD517,241). A ticket on the boats transporting visitors on Yen Stream to visit Huong Pagoda cost VND130,000 per person.

Nguyen Ba Hieu, head of Huong Son tourist site management board, said that Hanoi authorities allowed Huong Pagoda to be officially reopened on February 16. However, on February 11, many people rushed to the pagoda, so the management board decided to reopen so that they did not have to return.
