The cold and rainy weather will affect the northern localities between November 12-13 and then spread to the northern central areas from November 13-17, the centre said.

The lowest temperatures may fall to between 15-17 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas and 19-21 degrees Celsius in low-land areas.

Since October, there have been three light cold spells hitting the northern region and more cold fronts are forecasted for November. However, the average temperatures in November would be higher than those of previous years.
