Six members of a family were killed after a landslide buried their house in the central province of Quang Tri's Huong Hoa District on October 17.
Secretary of Huong Hoa District, Le Minh Tuan, told the media on Sunday afternoon that they have recovered the bodies of six people who were buried in the house inTa Rung Village, Huc Commune.
"One of them is a pregnant woman," he said.According to the official, the tragedy occurred at 4.30pm on october 17 and rescue forces found two bodies by that night.
The same morning, a one-year-old child was also killed in a landslide near her house in the village.
Early Sunday morning, twenty two military soldiers and officials were also buried after a landslide engulfed their base Quang Tri.
Rescue forces look for the 22 missing soldiers in a landslide in Quang Tri Province on October 18.
14 bodies have been found by the late afternoon while rescue forces are still looking for the others.
