After having dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant on Yen The Street near the Temple of Literature, the Singaporean delegation took a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, The Huc Bridge and Ngoc Son Temple.
The walk was a first photo-opportunity of the visit.
The Singaporean leader in a simple white shirt and trainers took many photos of Hoan Kiem Lake using his phone.
Locals and tourists walking around the lake came to greet the Singaporean delegation. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong waved to the people in the area.

The delegation spent some 15 minutes strolling around the lake.
Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong is scheduled to attend an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace on the morning of August 28. He will then meet with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, witness the signing of some co-operation documents and chair a press conference.
