Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology was presented with AUN-QA accreditation
The AUN was established in 1995 and is intended to promote the quality of higher education in the ASEAN region. The AUN Quality Assurance framework, with 25 standards and 111 criteria, represents quality-level universities in Vietnam and Southeast Asia are attempting to reach. The inspection aims to comprehensively strengthen the quality of education, research and services, whilst evaluating the efficiency of the internal quality assurance system.
The university was earlier recognised by France’s High Council for Evaluation and Research and Higher Education (HCERES) for meeting international standards, making the university has become the first in Vietnam to hold both AUN-QA and HCERES accreditation.
The ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance granted certificates on the same day on the quality of nine HCM City National University courses. They include the areas of bio-technology, journalism, literature, economics and accounting.
