The four-car train, which was transported by sea from France to Vietnam, will be taken to the Nhon depot area in Hanoi by road.

The second train for the Nhon-Hanoi Train Station metro route in Hanoi arrives at the northern city of Hai Phong’s port on February 5
The train can carry between 944 and 1,124 people with an average speed of 35 kilometres an hour. The maximum speed can reach 80 kilometres per hour.
The first train of the route was brought to Hanoi in October last year. Meanwhile, the eight remaining trains are being produced in France and expected to be imported into Vietnam by late July this year.
The pilot operation of the first train of Hanoi’s Nhon-Hanoi Station metro project was conducted on January 22.
The 12.5-km metro route which runs from Nhon Town in Nam Tu Liem District to Hanoi Railway Station in Dong Da District, will cost VND36 trillion (USD1.56 billion), sourced mainly from official development assistance from France.
Being started in September 2010, eight elevated kilometres of the project have mostly been finished.
