Police in Bac Lieu Province's Phuoc Long District yesterday said that they have arrested the headmaster of a local primary school for allegedly sexual abusing seven students.
The arrest came after a video clip showed the accused sexually harassing a fifth-grade student was sent to the police by several parents who alleged that the headmaster of Vinh Phu Dong C Primary School had sexually harassed seven students, aged from 10-12, for a long time.

The clip was said to have been recorded since late April by a student, who was also a victim, using a mobile phone.
The headmaster was suspended by Phuoc Long District's Department of Education and Training.
Further investigations are underway.
In March, a guard at a primary school in the northern province of Lao Cai was also arrested for allegedly molesting 23 students aged between five and 10.
Sexual abuse of minors is punishable by up to 12 years in jail.
