The rains would also occur in the central region during the period.

The centre added that the total rainfall of the whole country on October 3-10 would 10-13% lower than the average level of previous years.

The country’s temperature has been predicted to be 0.5-1.5 degrees centigrade higher than the same phase of previous years.

Northern localities would face cold weather from the mid-October.

The rains would help to ease the severe air pollution in many northern localities, including Hanoi.
