A poor widower with three small children in the southern province of Ben Tre has received support.

After their story was published on Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper, the bereaved father received nearly VND 129 million sent by readers to the newspaper's charity fund.
A representative from the newspaper recently visited the father Truong Minh Le and his children in Giong Trom District and transferred the donations.
Le, 34, expressed his sincere thanks to the newspaper and kind donors for their big support.
"I've never seen such a large amount of money in my life," he said. "Thank you so much for your valuable help. With this money, I can better support my children and get proper treatment for my kidney problems."
Le shared that after his story was published on Dantri Online, many people visited his family or sent their donations to support him.
"Thanks to support from the kind donors, we're having a better life," he said.
Le and her late wife used to have health problems since small. He had kidney problems and had surgery at the age of 16. Due to his family's economic difficulties, he couldn't get proper treatment and so has poor health. Le got married 10 years ago and his late wife used to have epilepsy. She died from poor health last year after giving birth to their third child.

After his wife died, the man had to mostly stay home to take care of three small children. His health has worsened and he could not do hard jobs. The family has faced serious financial difficulties.
