Domestic retail prices of petroleum products in Vietnam increased at 3 pm today, January 18, following the adjustment jointly decided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.
The price of biofuel E5 RON92 increased by VND370 to VND21,410 per litre, while RON95 rose by VND550 to VND22,480 per litre.
Diesel oil prices increased by VND487 to VND20,194 per litre. Kerosene prices grew by VND205 to VND20,536 per litre, while mazut oil price fell by VND307 to VND15,508 per kilo.
In this adjustment, the two ministries have decided to only extract VND300 per kilo from mazut oil prices for the price stabilisation fund this time.
The government has assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to co-operate with concerned agencies to draft a new decree to replace existing decrees 83 and 95 related to the current petroleum business. The draft will be submitted to the government for consideration in the second quarter of this year.
