
The 24-year-old woman defeated 68 other contestants to win the crown. She is 1.74 m tall and is a famous MC and model in Peru with over 4.5 million followers on Instagram. Fuster was previously crowned Miss Teen Pageant International 2015.
The first, second and third runners-up were contestants from Myanmar, Colombia and the United States.

Vietnamese representative Le Hoang Phuong was fourth runner-up in the global contest. She also won the title of Miss Best National Costume. Phuong has been highly appreciated for her role as a host this year thanks to her efforts to introduce Vietnam to international audiences.

Answering the judge’s question, Phuong said as an architect, she felt pain when she saw houses and families destroyed because of war. Thousands of people have died, and children cannot go to school.
“I want my voice to be heard. Let children know how beautiful peace is. Stop war. Return peace to humanity!” she said.
The organisers also presented the title fifth runner-up to contestants from the Netherlands, Thailand, Indonesia, Dominica and Angola.
This is the second time Vietnam has hosted the Miss Grand International pageant. At the Miss Grand International 2017 held on Phu Quoc Island, a representative from Peru, Maria Jose Lora, also won the crown.
