From April 29, the northeast monsoon will spread to the whole northern and northern central regions, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

Vietnam’s northern region has been forecasted to experience cooler weather
On April 28-29, northern and northern central localities would see rain of 30-80 mm over 24 hours. The temperature in the regions would sharply fall to 21-23 degrees centigrade. Some mountainous areas would experience the temperature of 19-21 degrees centigrade.
Whirlwinds and hail have also been warned in some areas during rain.
Nguyen Van Huong, head of the Weather Forecasting Department under the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, reported that the northern region would still face light cold weather in early May.
The southern region is witnessing hot weather with temperatures of 36 degrees centigrade. From April 29, the region would see the temperature fall.
