Tourists in Nha Trang
Khanh Hoa Hotel Association Chairman Vo Quang Hoang has said hotels and resorts in Nha Trang City in the southern central province of Khanh Hoa are nearly fully booked for the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
Most tourists have reserved accommodations in Nha Trang for a four-day stay from the 2nd to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year. Hotels along Tran Phu, Nha Trang streets draws tourists during Tet holiday. Street and seaside resorts are almost completely booked.
Hoang says most tourists are from southern regions, including HCM City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai.
Nha Trang has also seen accommodation bookings from people in the northern region, including Hanoi, Haiphong, and Bac Ninh.
Meanwhile, the majority of international tourists continue to come from South Korea.
Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Department, said the department has instructed local tourism service providers to strictly comply with price listing regulations and maintain service quality.
Thanh added that all vehicles serving organised tours must be issued a tourist transportation badge. She also mentioned the province's tourist support hotline, which can be reached at 2258 or 0947.528.000.
