On April 29, the Association of Cambodians of Vietnamese origin hosted a meeting to mark the 41st anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30) in Phnom Penh.
The Association Chairman, Huynh Minh Phu, said they will continue to stay united in building a stronger community, and maintain and promote solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
The Vietnam Embassy in Seoul in the Republic of Korea organized a get-together to mark the occasion.
Ambassador Pham Huu Chi highlighted the April 30th victory in Vietnam’s history. After 41 years, the country has grown from a poor country to a developed one which is actively integrating globally to find an important place on the world stage.
