According to details provided by the designer, the outfit draws inspiration from the wedding gown of Red Dao women, which is typically embroidered with brocade motifs. One notable feature is that the wide wings fitted into the dress can be adjusted.

This design will be worn by Bao Ngoc, the first runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022, at the upcoming Miss Intercontinental pageant due to take place this October in Egypt.

The Can Tho-born beauty measures 87-63-88 and is currently a student at the Faculty of International Affairs of the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 21-year-old girl enters the pageant with previous experience having made the Top 22 of Miss Vietnam 2020 and finished as runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022.

Ngoc noted that she is confident going into the international beauty contest, as she has got an IELTS score of 8.0, meaning she now feels ready to head to the competition and do the country proud.
