
The Yen Kieu-Bai Bac road has been hardest hit. A concrete road section which was the result of a landslide last year has not yet been fixed.

Landslides have occurred at five spots on Bai Bac-Cay Da road.
Meanwhile, two spots on Tien Sa Road have faced landslides. Two trees have fallen, affecting traffic. The same situation has also been reported on Ho Xanh-Bai Bac road.
The management board of Son Tra Peninsula has asked to suspend all tours to the affected areas, including Yet Kieu-Bai Bac, Bai Bac-Cay Da and Tien Sa-Suoi Om-Dinh Ban Co. Warning signs have also been installed in the area.
In October, the Danang People’s Committee approved a VND104 billion (USD4.24 million) project to upgrade the dyke system along the coastal road of Hoang Sa-Truong Sa-Vo Nguyen Giap and consolidate Hoang Sa Road on the Son Tra Peninsula. The project is scheduled to be carried out from 2023 to 2025.
Son Tra Peninsula is some 10 kilometres from the northeast of the centre of Danang City. After the torrential rainy spell in October 2022, landslide spots have appeared on the peninsula.
