
According to the police report, a woman from Kon Plong District came on the afternoon of January 7 to ask for help to search for her husband and their daughter who had gone missing.
The woman said that after a quarrel, her husband, who is 40 years old, took their 10-year-old daughter with him in a car. She had not been able to contact him since.
On the morning of January 8, police managed to talk to the daughter through a phone call and she said that they were in a pine forest and her father had fallen unconscious for hours.
Through the information given by the girl, police managed to find them the same evening in a forest in Mang Yang District, which lies over 100 kilometres from their house.
The man was unconscious while the girl was scared but in stable health. They were brought to a local hospital where doctors said that the man had high blood pressure and had fallen unconscious due to hunger.
The man and his daughter were later helped to return home after recovering.
