Ngo Van Doi learns paragliding in the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau on November 28.
The accident occurred at around 8 pm on Tuesday. Pilot Ngo Van Doi fell into a forest in Lai Chau’s Tan Uyen District when being trained. Following the Hanoi City Paragliding Association’s call for help, Tan Uyen police sent rescue services.

After a five-hour search, the police found him at 1.25am on November 29 in the forest in Hua Pau Village some seven kilometres from Tan Uyen Town.
He suffered from profuse bleeding due to injuries to his face.
Doi was then taken to Tan Uyen District’s Medical Centre. His health has seen gradual improvement.
