Kon Tum has experienced dozens of earthquakes of 2-4 magnitude on the Richter scale this year

According to the Earthquake and Tsunami Warning Centre under the Institute of Geophysics, the 3.1 and 2.9 magnitude quakes on the Richter scale occurred at 3.22 am and 4.18 am, respectively. The two tremors caused no threats.

This year, Kon Tum has experienced dozens of earthquakes of 2-4 magnitude on the Richter scale. Local residents usually reported small explosives in the ground and light shakes of housing and furniture.

It's not just Kon Tum that has been experiencing seismic activity. In recent times, reports of small quakes have also emerged from some northern provinces, including Bac Kan and Ninh Binh.
