International K-Pop 2012 in Vietnam, organised by the Korean Cultural Center, is on the lookout for the next Korean pop star from around the country next month.

The contest aims to encourage K-pop music fans to express their talent and passion in a more professional and organized manner.
Contestants will be evaluated on musical talent, performance style, Korean language pronunciation and presentation.
The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to South Korea to join the International K-Pop contest in October together with Korean singers from around the country. The contest will feature performances of Korean pop stars and bands and contestants will have a chance to share the stage with them.
International K-Pop 2011 in Vietnam attracted more than 700 contestants with the finalists establishing a band named ‘Tuxedo and Ao dai’ who won second prize out of 16 international teams in South Korea.
