The discovery was made on June 14 as officers carried out traffic enforcement and anti-crime operations along the Hanoi-Thanh Thuy border gate route.

Police stopped a car after noticing suspicious signs and identified the driver as a woman born in 1991 from Tuyen Quang Province.
A search of the vehicle uncovered more than 400 kilogrammes of food products, including sausages, Chinese sausages, dumplings, milk cakes, red clams, corn meatballs and other items.
The goods were packed in plastic bags and packaging bearing foreign-language labels.
At the time of inspection, the driver was unable to provide invoices, receipts or any documents proving the lawful origin of the products.
Authorities said the case showed signs of violations related to commercial regulations.
The driver, vehicle and all seized goods were transferred to market surveillance authorities for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
