The event, jointly organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Trade Promotion Agency and Hue's Investment, Trade and Business Support Centre, forms part of the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2026.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ha Van Tuan, vice chairman of the Hue People's Committee, said trade promotion was key to expanding markets, boosting competitiveness and adding value to Vietnamese products.
He said the fair would provide a platform for businesses to connect with partners, distributors and consumers while promoting their brands.
The fair features three sections 50 booths showcasing local economic potential, 110 displaying OCOP products, regional specialities and handicrafts, and 80 dedicated to commercial and service businesses.
Exhibits range from agricultural, forestry and seafood products to processed foods, textiles, footwear, electronics, construction materials, furniture, stationery, information technology products and financial, banking and telecommunications services.
Organisers said all products on display must comply with regulations on origin, quality standards and food safety.
The fair runs from June 12 to 17 at the Hue Cultural and Sports Square.
