According to the Centre for Conservation of Hue Monuments, tourists can enter the Imperial City free of charge from 7 to 9 pm on April 27-29 through the Chuong Duc and Hien Nho gates.

During the daytime of these three days, visitors must buy tickets to visit the venue as usual.
The offer is part of activities to attract visitors to an exhibition about bonsai trees and orchids which is taking place at the Imperial City. The event is scheduled to end on May 2.
Last year, the Imperial City offered free entry between 6-9 pm during the Hue Festival in June.
The Hue Imperial Citadel, which is one of the main architectural sites from Vietnam’s last monarchy the Nguyen Dynasty, was recognised as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1993.
