Quang Nam is struggling with torrential rain, flooding many areas. In Dai Loc District, around 100 metres of the Vu Giang River has been eroded at a depth of 4-5 metres. In Ai Nghia Town, landslides have affected as many as 12 households. Meanwhile, many roads in Bac Tra My and Nam Tra My districts have been damaged.

As a consequence, the Hoi An-Cham Island speedboat service has been suspended to ensure safety.
The rains also pose the risk of landslides in many local areas, including in Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Phuoc Son, Nui Thanh and Tay Giang districts.
Many hydropower power reservoirs in Quang Nam have filled following heavy rains over the past few days.
