Intensive rain on the night of May 14 caused traffic jams on Road 152 through Cau May Ward and damaged the road linking O Quy Ho Pass and Cat Cat Village.

Local authorities arranged for machinery to be brought to the landslide site. By 8 am this morning, the road section through Cau May Ward was cleared.

The Lao Cai Hydrometeorological Station warned of widespread rain, showers, and thunderstorms in many areas. People, particularly those in mountainous regions, are advised to be alert to downpours that could result in flash floods, landslides, and rockfalls, potentially causing unexpected damage.
