The tournament, which has attracted more than 280 players from 52 countries and territories, will be divided into three consecutive sub-tournaments, said the Ho Chi Minh City Tennis Federation on March 28.
French player Clement Reix, who is the 461th on the world’s rating, is ranked as the number one seed of the tournament.
Three Vietnamese players, Do Minh Quan, Nguyen Hoang Thien and Le Quoc Khanh have received wild cards to enter the final round.
