According to the Southern Regional Hydro-Meteorological Station, scattered showers and thunderstorms were recorded across Ho Chi Minh City over the past 24 hours.
From the night of October 24 to October 26, the city is expected to experience moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with total rainfall ranging from 50 to 150mm, and some areas exceeding 150mm.
Between the night of October 26 and October 29, widespread heavy rain is forecast, with rainfall reaching 150-300mm. From October 30 onward, rainfall intensity and coverage are expected to gradually decrease.
Authorities have warned of possible flooding in low-lying urban areas, industrial zones, and along rivers and canals. Thunderstorms may also bring whirlwinds, lightning, hail, and strong gusts.
