During a site inspection on August 6, Vice Chairman Hoang Nguyen Dinh said the city would help resolve issues involving material transport, excavated soil disposal and the deployment of foreign specialists, while urging contractors to maintain safety standards and speed up construction.

According to the city's Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR), Pham Van Bach and Le Thi Rieng are the project's two key underground stations and must be completed to allow tunnel boring machines to be launched.
Contractors are currently installing reinforcement cages and constructing diaphragm walls at both stations.
Tunnel boring is scheduled to begin in October 2027, although MAUR aims to bring the start date forward by about two months to August 2027.
