The torrential rain over recent days caused by Storm Wipha has put many sections of Thang Long Avenue under water, including underpasses and residential areas by the road.
The new Le Trong Tan Geleximco urban area which includes dozens of rows of villas and detached houses are also seriously inundated.
Local residents had to use machines to pump water out of the houses
The urban area is located at the most flooded part of Thang Long Avenue. Some sections in the area are up to 70 cm under water.
Meanwhile, Song Nhue River’s water level remains high, slowing drainage.
