Hanoi will hold firework displays in 31 locations in all local districts and towns on Tet Lunar New Year's Eve.
Each district and town will have one location for fireworks, except for Hoan Kiem District which will have two.
Each firework show will last for 15 minutes, from midnight February 10 or Lunar New Year’s Eve.
The city will also organise a countdown programme at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square on the Lunar New Year’s Eve.
During Tet, Hanoi's art units and theatres will also organise art performances in districts and townships.
The city will open 83 flower markets ahead of Tet, between January 20 and February 2.
Meanwhile, the pedestrian space in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District will open from December 29 through January 1 during the 2024 New Year holiday.
