Traditional products for the Mid-Autumn Festival including lanterns, masks, drums, and lots of toys are being displayed on the street, attracting lots of buyers and visitors.

A young man, Khanh Ha, said that he came with a group of friends to Hang Ma to find decorative items and toys for a party for the children in their ward.

"This is a special festival for children, so we want to organise a big party for them," Ha said. "We come here every year and always find all that we need. We came a bit earlier this year to avoid the congestion."

Another visitor, Thu Uyen, said that she had just come to the street to enjoy the colourful scenery.

"The colourful items and the bustling atmosphere always leave me in a good mood," Uyen said. "We came to enjoy the scene and take nice photos next to the toys and decorative items."

The Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on September 29 this year, is the second most important festival for many Vietnamese after the Lunar New Year.
