Located in Dich Vong Ward, the 6,540 square metre park opened in 2014 with an initial VND 8 billion investment, but many facilities had deteriorated after a decade of use.

The upgrade, launched in February, aims to improve infrastructure and restore green space. A newly designed emblem has been installed at the main entrance as a visual highlight.

Most major items are now complete, with only final tasks such as planting trees, grass and flowers still under way.

Key works include upgrading the lake, resurfacing walkways, adding greenery and installing rest pavilions, playgrounds and public toilets.

Wide, newly paved paths now run through areas enhanced with ornamental trees.

The children’s playground and outdoor sports area have also been fitted with new equipment to create a cleaner, safer environment.

Beyond recreation, the park serves as an urban green lung, helping improve environmental quality.
