Nhon-Hanoi Station metro route
Among the 463 employees on Hanoi’s second metro line, some 158 will be assigned to station management.
According to the Ministry of Transport, Hanoi is speeding up the metro line’s remaining work. The route’s elevated section is scheduled to be put into use in August.
The Hanoi Railway One Member Limited Company previously recruited 50 workers for the Nhon-Hanoi Station metro line. However, due to the project’s sluggish pace, the staff were sent to temporarily work on the Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro route.
The Nhon-Hanoi Station metro line has cost VND34.53 trillion (USD1.5 billion). Construction on the project was kicked off in 2010 and was slated for completion in 2016. However, the project has faced slow implementation due to a raft of reasons.
