Head of the Vietnam International Education Development (VIED) under the Ministry of Education and Training Pham Quang Hung said the event is intended to help Vietnamese students and postgraduates seek scholarships abroad.
This also creates a good chance for Vietnamese and foreign universities to enhance their connectivity, he added.
Over 4,000 students have registered to participate in the festival in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City .
Participants were provided with information about necessary procedures to study abroad, as well as on scholarships, the learning environment and culture in foreign countries where they want to pursue higher education.
