Nguyen Chi Tam, 18, said that he came here with a group of friends and they really enjoyed the exciting atmosphere on this street.
"We're having lots of fun here seeing people in colourful costumes," he said. "It's a good chance for us to show our creativity."
Many children were also taken to celebrate Halloween.
Some people did their costumes and make-up on the street. It cost between VND30,000-50,000 for make-up services.
Hoang Tuan, 30, an office worker in Binh Chanh District, said that he came to provide make-up services on Nguyen Hue Street during Halloween to earn some extra money. "The street is more crowded this Halloween than previous years," Tuan said. "We're also busier and earning more money."
