The move follows instructions from the Ministry of Construction after several recent incidents involving drones, kites and other flying objects entering restricted airspace near airports, affecting civil aviation operations.

Under a directive issued by the municipal People's Committee, government agencies and local authorities have been instructed to strengthen monitoring and promptly detect and handle the illegal use of drones and ultralight aircraft.
The city has also ordered schools located near the airport to increase awareness campaigns for students and parents about aviation safety regulations and the risks posed by flying objects in restricted areas.
The campaigns will focus on the dangers of kite flying, drone operations and other airborne activities that could threaten flight safety.
Police have been tasked with coordinating with military and transport authorities to investigate violations and take action against offenders.
Areas surrounding Cat Bi Intenrational Airport have also been instructed to launch inspection and awareness campaigns, particularly during the summer school holiday period.
Residents living near the airport will receive information on aviation safety regulations, while parents and guardians are being urged to supervise children and prevent activities that could endanger flight operations.
The city is also establishing a coordination mechanism involving local authorities, police, military units and aviation agencies to ensure rapid responses to reports of drones, kites and other objects entering airport airspace.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, several incidents involving drones and other flying objects have recently been reported near airports across the country.
On June 6 and 7, unauthorised flying objects were detected near Noi Bai and Cat Bi airports, forcing several flights to delay operations, enter holding patterns or divert to alternate airports, raising concerns over aviation safety.
