A resident, Huong Mai, said that Do Son had attracted more visitors during this year's Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holiday. "The beaches here were most crowded on the afternoon of April 30," she said. "It felt like there wasn't any space left."

Do Son District opened the Do Son Tourism Festival 2024 on the evening of April 30, which attracted a big crowd. The festival will last until May 4 and include entertainment shows, electronic dance music, a food competition, and a golf tournament.

A visitor, Anh Vi, said he was very surprised to see such a huge crowd at Do Son. "Do Son's water isn't very clean for swimming, but it's quite near my home, so I decided to spend my holiday here this year," Vi said. Maybe the long holiday and hot weather have brought more visitors to the beach."
