This weather phenomenon started around 4 pm on Wednesday and lasted 40 minutes in Ba Vi Commune.
Ninety-five houses, including 18 severely affected, had roofs blown off and walls cracked. Local authorities have urged residents to relocate to safer areas to ensure their safety.

Meanwhile, trees were uprooted, blocking several roads and causing traffic disruptions.
The headquarters of the Ba Vi Commune People’s Committee has been partially damaged. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.

Local youth and militia forces have cleared fallen trees and assisted in repairing the affected homes.
Ba To is a mountainous district bordering Kon Plong District in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum. It usually faces whirlwinds, lightning, and hailstorms.
