Ha Tinh locks down 15 spots after two new Covid-19 cases

The couple, a 56-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, work as labourers in Di An City, Binh Duong Province. They were in contact with a positive patient who went on a business trip to Binh Duong on May 29.

On May 30, the couple took flight VN1262 from HCM City to Vinh. Their family picked them up back to their home in Ha Tinh City. At 11.30 am on the same day, the couple went to Thach Trung Commune Medical Station to fill in the medical declaration forms.

On June 4, after knowing that their acquaintance was tested positive, they contacted Ha Tinh CDC to test themselves and six family members. The results for the couple have come back positive.

The local authorities disinfected the area and locked down 15 spots along four main roads in Doai Thinh Village, Thach Trung Commune where the couple lives. It is estimated that 100 out of 200 households in the village are under lockdown.

The local authorities also ordered to suspend all unnecessary activities in Ha Tinh.
