The Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has issued decisions approving the investment policies and investors for the Ky Anh 1, Ky Anh 2, Ky Anh 3 and Ky Anh 4 wind power plants.
The Ky Anh 1 Wind Power Plant, to be developed in Ky Van, Ky Lac and Ky Hoa communes, will have a capacity of 65MW and consist of 13 wind turbines. It is expected to generate around 173.422 million kWh of electricity a year, with total investment of VND 2.308 trillion (USD 87.5 million).
The project will also include a 220kV transformer substation and a 220kV transmission line, creating shared transmission infrastructure for all four wind power plants in Ky Anh.
Also planned in Ky Van, Ky Lac and Ky Hoa communes, the Ky Anh 2 Wind Power Plant will have a capacity of 50MW, with 10 wind turbines and average annual electricity output of around 131.128 million kWh. The project has total investment of VND 1.693 trillion (USD 64.4 million).
The Ky Anh 3 Wind Power Plant, planned across Ky Lac, Ky Hoa and Ky Thuong communes, will feature 10 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 50MW. It is expected to generate around 138.021 million kWh of electricity a year, with total investment of VND 1.8 trillion (USD 68.4 million).
The Ky Anh 4 Wind Power Plant will be built in Ky Van, Ky Lac and Ky Hoa communes, with 12 wind turbines and a capacity of 60MW. Annual electricity output is projected at around 148.905 million kWh, while total investment is estimated at VND 2.009 trillion (USD 76.3 million).
Under the approved schedule, investors in all four projects will complete land-related and legal procedures between August 2026 and February 2027. Supporting infrastructure and auxiliary works are scheduled to be developed from February to April 2027.
