Under the adjustment by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, E5 RON 92 was priced at VND19,150 (USD0.76) and RON 95 at VND19,580 per litre, down by VND800 and VND50 respectively.
Diesel and kerosene prices were cut by VND170 and VND150 per litre to VND17,350 and VND17,560 respectively. Meanwhile, mazut decreased by VND330 to VND16,190 per kilogramme.
The two ministries did not use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this adjustment.
Prices of RON 95 have remained at their lowest level in four years, similar to May 2021.
So far this year, RON 95 has increased nine times and dropped nine times. Diesel has witnessed eight increases and nine decreases.
