Rain has stopped in the province's central wards and sunny weather has returned, significantly reducing the threat of further flooding. However, officials warned that weather conditions remain unpredictable and urged residents to continue monitoring forecasts and prepare for any emergency.

The Cao Bang Department of Agriculture and Environment estimated that the prolonged downpours caused losses of around VND 5.3 billion (approximately USD 203,000).

The Bang Giang River reached its peak at 7 pm on June 26, with the water level rising to 182.45 metres and inundating several riverside areas.

Preliminary assessments show that 441 houses across the province were affected. Three landslides occurred along National Highway 34, disrupting traffic, while Provincial Roads 216 and 202 experienced multiple sections of flooding and slope failures.
